Carlisle Power-Wedge Cog-Belts are now made of EPDM. EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a synthetic rubber with outstanding properties. EPDM is durable, static conductive and has a broad operating temperature range. EPDM also resists hardening and glazing and is oil and heat resistant.
EPDM Power-Wedge Cog-Belts are smoother running and specially designed for increased performance. The belt side walls reduce vibration for extended component life. A new cog profile reduces bending stress for improved flexibility and optimum
performance on small diameter pulleys.
